Many plan to party, many will enjoy quiet comforts. Many will be happy, lonely or sad. Many are sick or coping with a death. Many attempt to recover while others attempt to reconcile. Many are fortunate, many are not. Many are remembered, while others are forgotten.
I too am one of the many, all who will scan and reflect on the past 365 days looking for the hope of change, renewal, fresh starts and new beginnings as the good Lord ushers in another year - untouched and freshly anew.
Be it of joy or sorrow to what we face as 2016 draws to a close I pray for those I know and do not know, with hope that what challenges, us also blesses.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
What fills our list of resolution, our intentions for 2017 will take daily discipline. Let us not fall into the trap of biting off more then we can chew. It is better to do little, establishing a permanent habit of change, then to do way too much and be doomed to fail.
As we venture into the New Year let us remember to relax and recenter the mind because no matter what we choose to change, no matter what challenges we face...
All things are possible through Christ who strengthens me.
